Join Democracy Reform NZ and help fix the machinery of our democracy. Membership is open to all New Zealand citizens and permanent residents who are eligible to enrol as electors. Your membership funds independent research and public advocacy β€” and every member brings us closer to 500, the number that gives our membership the option of registering a political party and putting democratic reform on the ballot. Joining the society doesn’t commit you to supporting a party; it means you believe democracy itself needs fixing.

Your residential street address goes on the society’s register of members β€” and should members later choose the party path, the Electoral Commission requires residential addresses (PO Boxes cannot be accepted), so collecting it now keeps that option open.
